Our thanks to all who supported Music in Millidgeville. We raised several thousand dollars for the North End Food Bank.

Fr. RYLAN MONTGOMERY, our new Incumbent (priest-in-charge) and his family have arrived, are living in Rothesay. Below is a brief biography:

Lieutenant (Navy) The Rev'd Rylan Montgomery
Father Montgomery feels called to foster deep, intimate relationships rooted in the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Hailing from Cornwall, Ontario and growing up in Ottawa, Father Rylan earned a B.Sc. (Psychology) at the University of Toronto and M.Div. (Knox) at the Toronto School of Theology. Originally ordained in the Presbyterian Church in Canada Father Rylan was eventually ordained in the Anglican Church to the Diaconate on 4 March 2008 and the Priesthood on 2 February 2009.

Up until 2016 Father Rylan has served in a variety of parishes in the Greater Toronto Area including the Cathedral Church of St. James in Toronto. Most recently he has worked as a Regular Force Chaplain and Officer with the Royal Canadian Navy posted to CFB Esquimalt and the Canadian Fleet Pacific in Victoria, British Columbia.

Father Rylan has been married to Irene Wong a classically trained pianist and teacher for a wonderful 13 years. They have two beautiful daughters, Mairi (3 years old) and Caragh (1 year old).

Father Rylan unashamedly adheres to and promotes the Catholic faith and spirituality found within the Anglican Tradition. He loves nature and music, reading and liturgy and all things pertaining to Celtic Football Club.

He looks forward to serving Christ's mission in Saint John, NB with the people of St. John the Baptist (Mission Church) and St. Clement as well as maintaining a part-time ministry with the Naval Reserves at HMCS Brunswicker.
